Fluminense has signed coach Abel Braga to try to lead the team to a second consecutive Brazilian league title.
Braga will take over the job from interim coach Enderson Moreira, who had been in charge since Muricy Ramalho resigned in the beginning of the year.
The 58-year-old Braga reached a deal with Fluminense several months ago but had to wait for his contract with club Al Jazira to end.
Braga formerly played for Fluminense and had already coached the team in 2005.
