Darren Fletcher has revealed all the Scotland players are desperate to deliver victory over Belgium for boss Craig Levein.
The manager has found himself under pressure following a disappointing start to the World Cup qualifying campaign after taking just two points from their opening three games.
The Scots sit second bottom of Group A and head into Tuesday's clash in Brussels needing a victory to salvage their ailing campaign.
But, according to Fletcher, every single player is still fully behind Levein and has faith in the manager.
The Manchester United midfielder said: "We are desperate for the performance and the win for the manager because we believe in him as a team, as a group.
"We've seen the work he puts in, the way he treats the players, the attention to detail that goes into every game.
"It's a really good set-up to be involved in and all the players genuinely enjoy being here. He treats us like adults, with respect.
"We are allowed to voice our opinions but he has the final decision and everyone respects him for that. Hopefully we can get a much-needed victory."
He added: "The players are fully behind the manager.
"I don't think we could be better prepared for matches than we are. I honestly believe that.
"The manager has come in and had a really positive impact on the whole structure at the SFA.
"He has definitely had a positive impact on the squad.
"We've had some good performances and we just need the results and hopefully they come sooner rather than later."
Scotland crashed to a 2-1 defeat to Wales in Cardiff on Friday following a late double from Gareth Bale.
The visitors had been leading through a James Morrison opener and then saw a perfectly good Steven Fletcher goal disallowed before the Welsh comeback.
Fletcher said: "You don't want to linger too long on defeats and injustices because the game is done now and there is nothing we can do about it.
"We deserve a little bit of luck. We've not had any in the last couple of campaigns.
"Maybe we need a little bit of luck and to use the injustice to try to get a result tomorrow night."
Asked if Scotland are now in the last chance saloon, Fletcher admitted: "It looks that way, doesn't it?
"It looks like we are going to need to get a win tomorrow night if we want to still have an impact on this group in terms of qualifying.
"Although there are still a lot of games, I think it would be a big ask if we didn't win the match.
"Even a draw might not be enough. We always try to win every game and tomorrow night is no different.
"It doesn't get much bigger. The longer you play and don't qualify, the games get bigger and bigger."
