Feilhaber 'fighting fit,' back on bench for Aarhus

American midfielder Benny Feilhaber is returning from an ankle injury and will be on the bench for his Danish club AFG Aarhus in a league match Wednesday against Esbjerg.

Team spokesman Bo Jensen says the 25-year-old Feilhaber is expected to be in the starting lineup in the following match Monday against Randers.

Jensen told The Associated Press on Tuesday that Feilhaber is now "fighting fit."

Feilhaber injured his ankle Feb. 15 while training with Aarhus. He has two goals in 31 international appearances, playing in all five U.S. games at last year's Confederations Cup.
