Evra emerges as Barca target
Manchester United's France left-back Patrice Evra is reportedly keen on a move away from Old Trafford and is being linked with Barcelona.
Barca are understood to be lining up a £17million bid for Evra.
According to El Mundo Deportivo, Pep Guardiola has indentified the 29-year-old Frenchman as the man to give balance to right-back Dani Alves.
Evra has previously been the subject of bids from Italian clubs, but is said to be more tempted by a move to the Nou Camp.
Real Madrid have previously been linked with Evra, but new boss Jose Mourinho is more likely to move for Chelsea's Ashley Cole.
Evra will have plenty of time to mull over an offer as Sir Alex Ferguson has reportedly given him a month off to recover from a long season followed by France's World Cup debacle.
