Notts County has appointed Hans Backe as its new manager.
The Swede will team up with countryman Sven-Goran Eriksson, the club's director of football.
The League two club announced on Tuesday that Backe, who was Eriksson's assistant at Manchester City and Mexico's national team, had signed a three-year contract. He replaces Ian McParland, who was fired two weeks ago.
The 57-year-old Backe won four Danish titles with FC Copenhagen and Aalborg, and had spells with Austria's SV Salzburg and Greek club Panathinaikos.
