The Trotters went down 5-0 on Sunday as the Potters set up a final showdown with Manchester City next month. Elmander has scored 12 times for Owen Coyle's side this term but could not find the net at Wembley and the 29-year-old has been left hurting by the defeat. The Swedish international told Expressen: "It was horrible. We should be ashamed. "There were far too many who hid themselves today. You can't allow an easy goal as the third for them. They just shouldn't happen. "This is absolutely one of the heaviest defeats that I've experienced." As regards the mood in the dressing room at half time, when they were already losing 3-0, Elmander added: "We didn't say much. "The manager said 'there are ways to lose a FA Cup semi and there are ways to lose an FA Cup semi'."
