Ebanks-Blake: I'll become stronger
Ebanks-Blake played a major part in Wolves gaining promotion to the Premier League with 25 goals. But during the 2009-2010 campaign he managed just two league goals, against Aston Villa from the penalty spot and Blackburn. The 24-year-old also lost his first-team spot as Wolves switched to a 4-5-1 formation with Kevin Doyle leading the attack. Ebanks-Blake is determined to bounce back next season after Wolves made sure of a second season of top-flight football. He said: "It is never easy when you are not playing. I was unfortunate to get injured early on and I never really built up any momentum. "I've been lucky the last few seasons where I built up a bit of momentum and I've got my goals. "Will I be a better player for this experience? I think so. I think you learn all the time, especially at my age as well, and it has been a brilliant experience for me. "I will definitely learn from it because it is something I've not experienced before. I'll just take it on board and hopefully get stronger. "Football is like that sometimes. We've changed the system. I've not played as much but the boys have done brilliantly. "I'm also not one of those people who, when they drop out of the team, will start kicking up a fuss. "I've kept professional, stayed about my business, worked hard on the training ground and will try and come back strong next season." Ebanks-Blake has no doubt Mick McCarthy's side deserve another campaign in the Premier League. He said: "Of course we do. You have seen the lads this season. We have really dug in. We've learnt to play at this level. "We all thought we could and we deserve to stay up."
