Ajax moved joint top of the Dutch league Sunday after trouncing De Graafschap 5-0.
Luis Suarez, the league's top scorer last season, opened the scoring in the 14th off Gregory van der Wiel's pass before adding another with a free kick in the 41st.
Urby Emanuelson netted the third from another free kick in the 68th and Demy de Zeeuw set up Suarez for the fourth in the 85th minute. Christian Eriksen's individual effort completed the win in the 89th.
PSV Eindhoven's perfect start to the season ended at ADO The Hague where it drew 2-2.
Ajax and PSV have 10 points each.
PSV took the lead after eight minutes when midfielder Ibrahim Afellay fired a thumping shot from 25 yards. Timothy Derijck equalized against the run of play in the 56th. Francisco Rodriguez thought he had snatched the winner in the 73rd with a headed goal from Balazs Dzsudzsak's free kick only for Frantisek Kubik to equalize again, nine minutes from time.
Marc Janko scored twice and created the other for Luuk de Jong as defending champion FC Twente beat FC Utrecht 4-0 to move joint third. De Jong scored another late goal for Twente, converting Bryan Ruiz's pass.
Feyenoord also won 4-0 against Vitesse Arnhem, getting goals from Kelvin Leerdam, Leroy Fer and Luc Castaignos. Georginio Wijnaldum also converted a 83rd-minute penalty for Feyenoord.
