Defenders Jan Vertonghen, Gregory van der Wiel and Vurnon Anita scored to lead Ajax to a 4-2 win over Vitesse Arnhem in the second round of the Dutch league on Saturday.
Midfielder Siem de Jong was also on target for Ajax, which was forced to come from behind following early goals from Vitesse's Davy Propper and Marco van Ginkel. Ajax drew 2-2 against FC Groningen in its season opener last week.
Balazs Dzsudzsak opened the scoring off a 5th-minute penalty and Ola Toivonen added a hat trick to help PSV Eindhoven beat 10-man De Graafschap 6-0. De Graafschap's Purrel Frankel was ejected in the 4th.
Nordin Amrabat and Ibrahim Afellay provided the other goals in PSV's second straight win.
PSV leads the standings with six points. Ajax was next with four.
Defending champion FC Twente has yet to secure its first win following a second successive 0-0 draw against SC Heerenveen.
Maarten Martens' game-tying goal three minutes from time gave AZ Alkmaar a 1-1 draw against FC Groningen. Tim Sparv handed Groningen the lead in the 76th.
Also, Ruud Boymans' 11th-minute goal was enough to help VVV Venlo seal a 1-0 win over Heracles Almelo.
On Sunday, Feyenoord meets Excelsior in the Rotterdam derby while NAC Breda is at FC Utrecht.
