Theo Janssen scored both goals for FC Twente to beat PSV Eindhoven 2-0 and move top of the Eredivisie on Saturday.

Janssen converted a 64th-minute penalty awarded after Marcelo fouled Byran Ruiz in the area. He then doubled the lead eight minutes from time by converting Roberto Rosales' pass to dislodge PSV from the top.

FC Twente has two more points than PSV with six rounds to go.

Nayib Lagouireh scored the winner as Excelsior Rotterdam beat SC Heerenveen 3-2. Michel Breuer and Bas Dost earned goals for Heerenveen then Geert Arend Roorda pulled one back for Excelsior in the 76th and added another seven minutes later.

Leonardo, Anthony Lurling and Donny Gorter netted as NAC Breda beat De Graafschap 3-1. Yuri Rose replied in the 74th for De Graafschap.

Charlison Benschop scored the lone goal in AZ Almaar's 1-0 win over Feyenoord. Roda JC beat Willem II 5-4.

On Sunday, Ajax hosts Heracles Almelo.
