DORTMUND, Germany (AP) Borussia Dortmund says midfielder Marco Reus likely will be out of action for three months after a left ankle injury took him out of Germany's World Cup campaign.
The 25-year-old Reus initially was expected to miss six or seven weeks after he was injured in Germany's World Cup warmup against Armenia last Friday.
However, Dortmund said on Tuesday that club doctor Markus Braun expects him to be out until September after further examinations.
Germany called up Sampdoria defender Shkodran Mustafi as a late replacement for Reus.
