Doig: Shots a difficult game

York defender Chris Doig has warned his team-mates to expect a tough test at Aldershot next weekend.

The 31-year-old centre-half, who spent three months on loan at Aldershot from December 2011, will come face-to-face with former York striker Michael Rankine at the Recreation Ground.

"It's also a difficult place to go with a big pitch and a bit of a slope on it," Doig told the York Press. "The crowd get behind them and it will be a really difficult game.

"The manager [Dean Holdsworth] will have them well organised, but I'm looking forward to going back and seeing a few familiar faces. I have nothing to prove going back there.
