France coach Didier Deschamps has called up Saint-Etienne goalkeeper Stephane Ruffier after Mickael Landreau was injured in training.

The French Football Federation said on Wednesday that Landreau pulled his right hamstring during Tuesday's training session and will have a scan later Wednesday to determine the extent of the injury.

Ruffier made his only appearance for France in a friendly against Norway in November 2010. He will be third-choice behind Steve Mandanda and No. 1 Hugo Lloris for Friday's friendly against Australia and the World Cup qualifier at home to Finland on Tuesday.

Deschamps also called up the uncapped Saint-Etienne defender Kurt Zouma as cover for his center halves.
