France coach Didier Deschamps has called up Lyon right back Anthony Reveillere to replace Christophe Jallet for next week's friendly away to Italy.

Jallet, who plays for Paris Saint-Germain, has a thigh injury. France doctor Franck Le Gall examined him and decided it was unwise to risk playing him in Parma.

The 33-year-old Reveillere made the last of his 19 international appearances away to Finland in a World Cup qualifier in September.

Deschamps has made a bright start after taking over from Laurent Blanc after the European Championship. France won its first two qualifiers and then drew 1-1 away to reigning world and European champion Spain last month.
