Turkey held Denmark to a 1-1 draw in a friendly Wednesday after Mevlut Erdinc canceled out a second-half penalty by Nicklas Bendtner.
Bendtner scored form the spot in the 64th minute after a foul on Michael Krohn-Dehli, shooting the ball low to the right of goalkeeper Onur Kivrak who dived the wrong way.
Erdinc equalized five minutes later when his shot was deflected into the right corner of the net, passing the outstretched hand of Danish goalkeeper Stephan Andersen.
It was Turkey's 500th international game since its first match against Romania in 1923.
