Victory over FC Twente last time out ensured the Turkish club will finish at the top of Group H regardless of Thursday night's result. Sheriff need to beat Fener, and hope Twente lose at Steaua Bucharest, if they are to claim the second qualifying spot. But Daum has warned they will not make things easy for their Moldovan opponents. "It was a huge success for us by beating FC Twente in the Europa League," he told the club's official website. "That meant we could wrap up the group before the final matches, which really is a great achievement. "Now we take on Sheriff in our final game. Although it gives me a chance to use players I wouldn't normally select, first and foremost I want to win. It is our last game in the group and we want to finish on a high." The match will also mark the final appearance for Brazilian Roberto Carlos in a Fenerbahce shirt. The veteran left-back, who joined Fener in 2007, will be out of contract on December 20 and is set to return to his homeland with Corinthians. A presentation is expected to take place at the end of the match for the former Inter Milan and Real Madrid player. Despite the occasion, Sheriff will be preoccupied with trying to get the win they need to overtake Twente in the group. A 3-0 victory over Zimbru in the domestic league served as the ideal warm-up, and club captain Vazha Tarkhnishvili is aware his team will have to produce a similar performance if they are to beat Fener. "We had many goal-scoring opportunities against Zimbru which we didn't take," he said. "In the match against Fenerbahce we will be able to count such opportunities on one hand. "If we are to win, it is necessary to convert our chances. I would say Zimbru was the perfect training game before the trip to Istanbul."
