Danish goalie Jimmy Nielsen says he is joining Kansas City Wizards
on a one-year contract.
Nielsen's team Vejle Boldklub said in a statement Thursday
that Nielsen needs to undergo a medical check before switching to
the Major League Soccer team.
The Danish club didn't disclose financial details of the
transfer.
The 32-year-old Nielsen joined Vejle Boldklub in January 2008
from Leicester City.
Last year, Vejle Boldklub was relegated from Denmark's top
league and is now eighth in the first division.
