Crouch has no Spurs regrets
The striker joined Stoke on the deadline day of the summer transfer window and will now face his former club on Sunday at the Britannia Stadium. Spurs are flying high this season after 10 wins in 11 Premier League matches and so it would be understandable if Crouch had some regrets about leaving. But having watched manager Harry Redknapp sign Emmanuel Adebayor on loan, the 30-year-old knew his chances would be limited in North London. Crouch said in The Sun: "No regrets at all. There is a real buzz around here. I love the feeling of being part of something special which is what is going on at Stoke. "There's something special going on at Spurs too, but they brought in Emmanuel Adebayor and I knew my chances would be limited and I'd be watching from the bench. As good as they are to watch, I'm not one for that! "I want to play and be at a place where I feel wanted. The boss was dying to get me here and I felt the club was going in the right direction."
