Mario Mandzukic and Niko Kranjcar scored to earn Croatia a 2-1 victory over Norway in a friendly on Tuesday.

Croatia - fresh from beating Israel in a Euro 2012 qualifier three days ago - pressed hard from the beginning, but it was Norway who took the lead through Mohammed Abdellaoue's goal in the 20th minute.

After missing several chances, Croatia equalized 15 minutes later when Mario Mandzukic diverted in captain Darijo Srna's long-distance free kick.

Tottenham midfielder Kranjcar scored the winner in the 49th minute.
