Crewe v Crawley preview
Brendan Rodgers is likely to recall his star names for Liverpool as he returns to Swansea City for the first time while the home side hope Ki Sung-Yueng will be fit on Sunday.
Influential Swansea midfielder Ki has been sidelined after a recent hamstring injury and is not yet certain to play at the Liberty Stadium.
The summer signing from Celtic sustained the fitness problem in the game against Southampton and missed last weekend's win at Newcastle United.
Former Arsenal defender Kyle Bartley has returned to training with Swansea and could be in contention.
The ?1million recruit had been sidelined since September after sustaining a hip injury but he is now back with Michael Laudrup's senior squad.
Liverpool boss Rodgers, who is returning to Swansea for the first time since leaving in the summer, is likely to return his main men to the first XI.
The Anfield manager rested the likes of Jose Enrique, former Swansea star Joe Allen and Glen Johnson in Thursday's Europa League draw with Young Boys.
Luis Suarez, captain Steven Gerrard and Raheem Sterling were used as substitutes but can expect to return to the starting line-up as Liverpool look to avenge their Capital One Cup defeat by Swansea.
Lucas Leiva is back in full training after his thigh injury but he has not played since the end of August.
Crewe manager Steve Davis has no new injury concerns to contend with.
Kelvin Mellor (knee) and AJ Leitch-Smith (ankle) are the only absentees for the clash, with Davis attempting to mastermind a third straight home victory.
Michael West has returned to training following illness but is not likely to be included in the squad as he continues to build up his match fitness.
Teenagers Max Clayton and Ryan Colclough were both named on the bench in the 3-3 draw against Sheffield United on Tuesday night as they put their injury concerns behind them.
Clayton will be looking for his first start in over a month against Richie Barker's men, while Colclough is still waiting for his first appearance after missing 11 games with a broken jaw.
Mark Ellis, Mathias Pogba and Chuks Aneke were all on the scoresheet against the Blades and will keep their places in Davis' starting line-up.
Richie Barker could hand Conor Clifford his Crawley debut at Crewe.
The Republic of Ireland Under-21 international moved to the Red Devils from Chelsea on Thursday in a loan deal which will see him stay at the npower League One outfit until January.
Barker told the club's official website: "Conor is a player our management team including (director of football) Steve Coppell and (chief scout) Martin Hinshelwood have identified for some time.
"Chelsea rate him very highly. He is a very good midfield player and he will add significantly to our options as we approach the busiest time of the season.
"A lot of clubs were keen to sign him on loan before the loan deadline on Thursday and we are delighted to have him with us."
Elsewhere, Claude Davis returns from suspension but Joe Walsh still has two matches to serve for the straight red card he picked up in the draw with Walsall last weekend.
