The Trotters have lost Johan Elmander at the end of his contract, while Daniel Sturridge has returned to Chelsea following a loan spell at The Reebok. Coyle now has just Kevin Davies, Ivan Klasnic and Robbie Blake, who struggled for action last season, as options in the Bolton attack. "I've been delighted with his level of performances," the Totters boss said of Ward. "He is a terrific young player who is only going to get better."
