Four-time Brazilian champion Corinthians has signed Paraguay goalkeeper Aldo Bobadilla until the end of 2011.

The 34-year-old Bobadilla was a reserve for Paraguay at the World Cup in South Africa. He will replace Felipe, who was released by the club.

Bobadilla says he is looking forward to the ''enormous challenge'' of playing for Corinthians, which leads the Brazilian league with 18 points from eight matches.

Bobadilla was previously with Colombia's Independiente Medellin. He has also played for Paraguayan clubs Cerro Porteno and Libertad, as well as Gymnasia y Esgrima and Boca Juniors in Argentina.
