Copa Libertadores Roundup, Mar 23
Brazilian champion Fluminense came from behind twice to claim its first Copa Libertadores victory with a 3-2 triumph against Mexico's Club America.
The Group Three clash in Rio de Janeiro saw Vicente Sanchez put America ahead after 15 minutes following a mistake by Flu goalkeeper Berna. But Gum levelled five minutes later with a header from Dario Conca's cross.
Sanchez put America back in front in the 72nd minute but Araujo equalized seven minutes later before Deco completed the turnaround three minutes from time.
Argentinian side Argentinos Juniors leads the group with seven points, one clear of America, with Flu up to third on five.
Godoy Cruz drew 1-1 with fellow Argentinians Independiente to lead Group Eight.
The Libertadores debutant went a goal down to Matias Defederico just 40
seconds in but Ruben Ramirez cancelled that out in the 34th minute.
Godoy Cruz defender Diego Villar told Fox Sports: "It was a very tough match. We clinched a positive result.
"We were surprised very quickly by their goal, but after that, we controlled
the game. Then they played defensively and it was difficult for us to hurt them again."
