Sean O'Driscoll believes Nottingham Forest will not suffer from a lack of self-belief this season as they have so many potential match-winners.
Simon Cox, Billy Sharp, Henri Lansbury, Adlene Guedioura, Simon Gillett and Danny Collins are among 11 new signings, adding to the likes of Lewis McGugan, Andy Reid and Dexter Blackstock already at the club.
O'Driscoll is aware of the quality in his squad and believes his players will never be short on confidence when they look at those around them in the dressing room.
"Resilience comes from the belief that in the squad we have, within the team you pick for every game, there is somebody in there who can produce something," O'Driscoll told the media at his pre-match press conference ahead of Sunday's East Midlands showdown against Derby at the City Ground.
"They look around the dressing room and they think, 'He can do something. He could come on and make a difference'. There is a balance to the team and our bench, at the minute, is as strong as it can be. When you look at Championship sides, if you analyse their bench that will give you an idea of how strong the club is.
"The subs in the last few games have been terrific. People have spoken about our resilience, but we have resilience because we look at our bench and think, 'We can change things here'. That has given us the chance to get back into things against Birmingham and Crystal Palace."
