Bundesliga side Cologne is sticking with coach Stale Solbakken in its battle against relegation.
The Norwegian coach's position was called into question after Saturday's 2-1 league loss at Augsburg left the side in a relegation playoff place.
Cologne board chairman Claus Horstmann says there were ''many intensive talks'' involving management, the coach and players on Sunday, leading to ''drastic changes'' before the next league game at home to Werder Bremen.
Horstmann says, ''that is Stale Solbakken's job and so it was discussed with him.''

Cologne has a league high 16 defeats this season, while it has also conceded 58 goals, more than any other side.
There are six rounds left to play in the Bundesliga.
