Lazio have signed left-back Javier Garrido from Manchester City just days after Aleksandar Kolarov moved in the opposite direction.
The signing of Kolarov pushed Garrido further down the pecking order at City with the Serbian and Wayne Bridge ahead of him in Roberto Mancini's plans.
Spaniard Garrido struggled to establish himself at City since arriving from Real Sociedad in 2007 and Mancini is willing to let him move as he looks to trim his huge squad.
"Garrido is a Lazio player. He was our first choice to replace Kolarov," said Lazio president Claudio Lotito.
