A group of Chinese investors has bought a stake in Inter Milan to become the second-largest shareholders of the Serie A giant.

Club president Massimo Moratti said Thursday that ''I am extremely happy with this deal,'' which ensures his family retains control of Inter.

Inter announced the deal in a statement late Wednesday in which it also revealed that an agreement has been reached with China Railway Construction Corp to build a new stadium by 2017.

The club has shared the San Siro with AC Milan since 1947.

Moratti says ''it's now a very real plan ... now we must find the right location, see what can be done, and in a few years' time the fans will have their own home, just for them.''
