Chelsea's squad of international players has been warned by manager Carlo Ancelotti and chief executive Ron Gourlay over their behavior following recent scandals involving John Terry and Ashley Cole.

Gourlay organized this week's meeting after newspapers accused Terry of an affair with an England teammate's former partner and published stories alleging that Cole sent lurid photos of himself to a model via mobile phone.

Both players are married.

Ancelotti says he is not interested in players' private lives but said that he wants to protect the Premier League club's image.

Ancelotti said Friday that "we explained to them what is to be the behavior of the players in this club."
