Carney, who arrived at the club on transfer deadline day, made his debut for Blackpool in last weekend's impressive win at Newcastle. The Australia midfielder is happy with his move to Blackpool and he has been impressed by what he has seen at Bloomfield Road. "There's a good bunch of lads, and the manager's got us all really together," Carney told the club's official website. "He likes to play attractive, fast football and I think that's why we're doing so well. "It's only early days so we've got to keep the hard work going and look forward to it because it's exciting times. If we carry on playing like this I think we can have a really good season." Blackpool take on league leaders Chelsea at Stamford Bridge this Sunday and Carney is relishing pitting his wits against the reigning champions. "It's not an easy place to go but that's exactly why you want to be a footballer and play at the highest level, to go to places like that and test yourself against the best players in the world," added Carney.
