Ecuador striker Felipe Caicedo will miss friendlies against Columbia and Peru later this month due to a leg injury.
Caicedo tore a muscle in his right leg during Levante's Spanish league game at Deportivo La Coruna and left the pitch on a stretcher.
The 22-year-old player- on loan from Manchester City this season- leads Levante with 11 league goals.
Ecuador plays Columbia on March 26 and Peru on March 29.
