Cacau keen on Stuttgart stay - Agent
Cacau's agent claims the Germany striker has been approached by
Sevilla but would far prefer to sign a new contract with Stuttgart.
Cacau is almost guaranteed a place in the Germany squad for
this summer's World Cup, although his club future beyond July has
yet to be resolved with the Brazil-born 28-year-old set to become a
free agent at the end of the season.
His agent Osmar Oliveira says Cacau will listen to what
Stuttgart have to offer, but revealed other clubs - including
Sevilla - have made enquiries.
"It is correct that they (Sevilla) have shown an interest,
but we don't have an actual offer yet," he told the local
Stuttgarter Zeitung newspaper.
"Our first negotiations will be with Stuttgart and I expect
we will reach an agreement.
"Cacau's wish is that it works out with Stuttgart."
Cacau has scored seven goals in his last three games for
Stuttgart and is set to lead the Germany attack in Wednesday
night's friendly against Argentina.
