Team news ahead of Saturday afternoon's Championship clash between Burnley and Millwall at Turf Moor.

Burnley boss Eddie Howe will hold fire on finalising his starting XI until he receives news on the fitness of two key players.

Winger Junior Stanislas (hamstring) and captain Jason Shackell (knock) sat out the midweek defeat to Swindon in the Capital One Cup but could make welcome returns.

Howe told the club's official website: "They are both still quite sore and we will have to leave it until the last minute to see if they are fit.

"Hopefully they will play some part in the next week, but we are not sure as yet."

There is good news on the progress being made by striker Danny Ings, who will return to training following an operation to correct a knee cartilage injury.

Defender Michael Duff (Achilles) played the full 90 minutes against the Robins without any ill effect and looks set to continue.

Millwall midfielder Chris Taylor serves a one-match ban after he was sent off for a foul on Brighton goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak last weekend.

Left-back Scott Malone came off against Brighton with a slight groin problem but he is expected to be fine.

Skipper Paul Robinson should return in defence after coming on as a substitute on Saturday following an ankle knock, while goalkeeper David Forde will hope to keep his place after getting the nod ahead of Maik Taylor.

Winger Liam Feeney is still on the sidelines with an ankle injury while midfielder Tamika Mkandawire played for the Lions' Under-21s in midweek to build up his fitness following a knee operation, but he is not expected back for the first team just yet.
