Burnley manager Brian Laws has made his first signing for the
Premier League club with the loan acquisition of France under-21
striker Frederic Nimani from Monaco.
Burnley says it signed Nimani until the end of the season
despite interest in the player from three other Premier League
clubs.
The club said Friday that the deal was made "with a view to a
possible permanent move."
Nimani has scored one goal in eight games for Monaco this
season.
Laws replaced Owen Coyle as manager last week when Coyle
switched to Bolton.
