Burnett: Shots are no pushover
Dagenham first-team coach Wayne Burnett feels Aldershot are a more difficult proposition than their league position suggests.
Chances were at a premium during the encounter as the Daggers, currently hovering four points above second-bottom Shots, failed to do enough on home soil to claim victory as the match ended in a goalless draw.
Aldershot went into the clash having finally ended a club-record run of seven successive defeats with a late 2-1 win at Southend a few days earlier.
"I think Aldershot's position in the league doesn't reflect their performances," Burnett said
"We have had reports on them, they played against Southend and beat them. Where they are right now isn't a true reflection.
"But we know we can take positives from the game - only one defeat in eight and we want to start winning our home games."
