Bullard took to the field against Doncaster's second string at Cottingham and seemed to show no signs of discomfort before being withdrawn 15 minutes from time as the Tigers ran out 5-0 winners. The 31-year-old has not featured in Hull's first team since limping off in the 3-0 Premier League defeat at Aston Villa on December 5. However, he could now be in contention for a run-out in the televised clash against Everton at Goodison Park on Sunday. Craig Fagan, who is banned against the Toffees, hit a hat-trick in Tuesday's reserve-team victory while Kamel Ghilas hit two goals.
