Bulgarian football fans clash with police

Police say several people have been injured in overnight clashes between football fans and police after the Bulgaria Cup final between Sofia rivals CSKA and Slavia.

Police said Thursday that one police officer was among those injured. A bus has been damaged and many car windows smashed. Four fans have been detained for hooliganism.

Police had intervened after celebrating CSKA fans, leaving the Balgarska Armia Stadium, attacked passers-by and smashed windows of parked cars. CSKA won 1-0 to clinch its 20th national cup title.
