Brett Favre is apparently a Bayern Munich fan
Brett Favre never really indicated that he has any interest in soccer. To be fair, he never indicated that he didn't like soccer. It was just never a thing on anyone's radar, at least not publicly.
And yet apparently he is a Bayern Munich fan. It started last year when he gave a jersey to Jimmy Fallona and now ...
It's all about an @FCBayern win right now! #MiaSanMia FC Bayern https://t.co/o4zaABS3Tq pic.twitter.com/JAmCEFo3SL

Now is he actually a fan, or did someone send him a customized kit so he put it on, thought it was cool and now tweeted out a picture? Maybe. But maybe the former quarterback has gotten into the sport and really loves Bayern. After all, he has plenty of free time nowadays and there are worse ways to spend it than watching Thomas Muller, David Alaba, Philipp Lahm and Co. Plus, Wisconsin, where Favre played the vast majority of his career, has a huge German community.
It is a bit strange that the NFL's preeminent gunslinger has sided with a team obsessed with control, short passing and deliberate play, but here we are. Maybe Favre is changing with age.
