Villa fans called for Houllier to quit after the home loss to Wolves left them only a point above the Premier League bottom three. But Villa assistant boss McAllister believes Houllier will be firing on all cylinders for the finale to the campaign as they look for the results needed to stay up. McAllister said: "He is a very experienced manager and has been in all the football situations you can imagine. "He will be refreshed and ready to go. We want to get the results early to alleviate pressure towards the end. "In an ideal world, if we could get a run of three victories, we'd take that. We've been on a decent run and then we've slipped again but if we can just have a little stretch of runs undefeated again, it would certainly help."
