South American rivals Brazil and Argentina will play friendlies in November and December.
Officials say the teams will meet in Qatar on Nov. 17 and in Argentina on Dec. 19.
The second match will mark the reopening of the Unico de La Plata stadium, which will host Copa America matches in 2011.
Brazil coach Mano Menezes says "it will be great for Brazil to play Argentina" this year.

The football federations from both countries last month agreed the teams will play two exhibition matches each year, although the friendly in Qatar is not part of that agreement.
