Angry Mark McGhee described Bristol Rovers' defending as "ridiculous" and "catastrophic" after Morecambe had ripped them apart on Saturday.

The Pirates manager refused to let his players go home until they had watched their horror show - a 3-0 home defeat - on film.

"They are not going home until we have seen the dvd and people have taken responsibility for what went wrong," said the Pirates boss.

"Some of our defending was ridiculous and it was certainly catastrophic.

"I have never before sat one of my teams down to watch a game straight afterwards, but I am doing it here.

"We have to sort out our home form without delay because it is going to be crucial to us. That's two defeats here already and it's not good enough."
