Borussia Moenchengladbach has signed Germany youth international Tolga Cigerci from Bundesliga rival Wolfsburg on loan until June 2013.
Borussia said in a statement Tuesday that it has an option to sign the 19-year-old midfielder to a longer deal.
Moenchengladbach sporting director Max Eberl says, ''We already wanted to sign Tolga in the summer and are happy that it has now worked out. He is a very talented, competent man for central midfield who will strengthen our squad.''
Borussia is fourth in the Bundesliga.
