Blackburn have been boosted by the return from injury of a trio of players ahead of the game. Defender Phil Jones, who was a late omission from the team that drew against West Ham last week with a back problem, has recovered while Michel Salgado (knee) and David Dunn are also fit after missing the trip to Upton Park. Ryan Nelsen and Vince Grella are definite absentees and Ruben Rochina is a doubt after dislocating his shoulder in the reserves' win against United on Wednesday, a game in which the young Spaniard scored both Rovers' goals. United goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar is set to get a week's break. The veteran Dutchman has started 16 out of United's last 18 games and with the Champions League final to come, Sir Alex Ferguson feels it is time the 40-year-old had a rest. Ferguson intends to introduce fellow Scot Darren Fletcher from the bench at some stage, with United requiring a single point to confirm top spot.
