Craig Bellamy has made a donation of over ?4000 for the children of a woman killed in a series of hit and run incidents in Cardiff.

The 31-year-old mother of three, Karina Menzies, died in the collisions on October 19 and a collection at the Bluebirds' clash with Watford last Tuesday saw ?4,155 raised for her family by fans - a total matched by the Welshman.

In addition to that amount the football club donated ?1,690, meaning the total reached ?10,000.

Cardiff spokesman Barrie McAuliffe told the BBC: "The club are honoured to add to the total raised thanks to two very generous individuals indeed.
