Barcelona defender Adriano is expected to be sidelined for 10 days with an injured right leg and will likely miss next Wednesday's visit to AC Milan.

The Brazilian left back pulled a muscle during Barcelona's 5-3 win over Granada on Tuesday, when Lionel Messi broke the club's all-time scoring record with 234 goals.

Barcelona is due to play Mallorca in a Spanish league match Saturday before heading to Italy for the opening leg of its Champions League quarterfinal series.

The defending European champions are already without starting left back Eric Abidal, who is awaiting a liver transplant.
