Baggies quintet set for return
West Brom's walking wounded are set for a swift return to Premier League action, assistant manager Kevin Keen has revealed.
The Baggies lost Chris Brunt to a hamstring strain during Sunday's draw at Aston Villa, while Billy Jones suffered a knee injury.
Steven Reid, Liam Ridgewell and Gareth McAuley also took knocks but medical staff hope to give all five the green light to face QPR on Saturday.
Joint No. 2 Keen told the Birmingham Mail: "We're hoping that everyone might be available for Saturday but if not we've got the cushion of a couple of weeks for the international break.
"With Billy, it was a tackle and he got a knock on his knee, so his knee is a little bit sore and we're looking at scans and things like that.
"We will keep an eye on Chris Brunt too. It's maybe not as bad as it looked but we'll just see how we go on Saturday.
"I will just say again, we're hopeful we will have as many fit as possible, which would give the gaffer a bit of a problem team selection-wise."
Jerome Thomas should also be back in action soon following his recent knee surgery.
Keen added: "Jerome started training this week, Saturday may be a little bit early but depending on what happens this week, he could be in the gaffer's thoughts."
