The defeat, coupled with PSV Eindhoven's 5-1 romp at Heerenveen, means AZ are just one point ahead at the top of the table. Anthony Lurling put NAC in front on 31 minutes, but the game looked destined for a draw after Brett Holman's equaliser on the stroke of half-time. However, Koenders had other ideas and secured all three points for his side in the closing moments. PSV Eindhoven capitalised on AZ's slip-up with a thumping 5-1 victory at Heerenveen. PSV kicked off knowing AZ had lost and took full advantage thanks to Ola Toivonen's double and further goals goals by Tim Matavz, Georgino Wijnaldum and Marcelo. Rajiv Van La Parra bagged Heerenveen's consolation late on. John Guidetti struck a first-half hat-trick to help in-form Feyenoord defeat high-flying FC Twente 3-2. It was only the visitors' second league defeat of the season despite a valiant second-half fightback. Guidetti netted in the eighth, 43rd and 44th minutes to put Feyenoord in control and, although Twente hit back with goals from Nacer Chadli and Luuk de Jong, it was not enough to deny the home side. Feyenoord have now taken 13 points from a possible 15 in the last few weeks and they move to within two points of third-placed Twente, who saw their 11-match unbeaten Eredivisie run come to an end. Ajax cruised to an easy win over ADO Den Haag after the visitors were forced to play 80 minutes with 10 men at the Amsterdam Arena. Ramon Leeuwin was shown a straight red card for a two-footed tackle on Christian Eriksen after 10 minutes and his team-mates never looked like getting something out of the game. Eriksen himself opened the scoring on 19 minutes and Theo Janssen (58), Dmitry Bulykin (79) and Miralem Sulejmani (85) completed a comfortable victory for the home side.
