Australia brought midfielder Tim Cahill back into its team and Serbia restored Aleksandar Lukovic for their Group D match after both served World Cup suspensions.

Australia made three changes from its 1-1 draw with Ghana. Cahill returns to replace the suspended Harry Kewell, Michael Beauchamp comes in for suspended defender Craig Moore and striker Josh Kennedy is in for Brett Holman, who scored against Ghana.

Serbia made two changes in defense, with Lukovic replacing Neven Subotic and Ivan Obradovic replacing Aleksandar Kolarov.

Serbia will advance with a victory and may reach the second stage with a draw. Australia needs a win and for the result of the Germany vs. Gana game to go its way.
