Atletico Rafaela climbs to second

Atletico Rafaela lie second in the Argentinian Apertura table after a 2-1 win over Lanus who finished the game with nine men.

Lanus had taken the lead through Mario Regueiro after 19 minutes but Fabricio Fontanini levelled (51) before Regueiro was sent off two minutes late.

Federico Gonzalez put Atletico ahead two minutes later before Carlos Izquierdoz was shown a red card three minutes after that.

Ezequiel Rescaldani got the only goal as Velez Sarsfield beat San Martin San Juan.
