Aston Villa, Wolves stay unbeaten with 0-0 draw

Aston Villa and Wolverhampton Wanderers remain unbeaten in the Premier League after the local rivals drew 0-0 on Saturday.
Wolves, who just avoided relegation last season, have now taken seven points from their opening three games after surviving a second-half battering by Villa.
Villa dominated territorially with Gabriel Agbonlahor causing plenty of problems with his pace, while Charles N'Zogbia also posed a threat.
Mick McCarthy's Wolves rarely threatened but captain Roger Johnson was solid in defense to repel the Villa danger.
''A clean sheet was big for us,'' Johnson said. ''I said to the boys that we would need to weather the storm and we did. We'll take seven points so far. We know we're a very good team and we'll try and finish as high as possible. We're a good side.''
Villa has five points, but manager Alex McLeish was disappointed his side could not make the most of its possession at home.
''I felt we were in control of the game and our second-half performance deserved a goal,'' he said. ''We were getting into good positions but not getting service to the main man (Darren Bent) who is a little bit frustrated.
''Mick made some defensive changes and it took the sting out of the game. It stopped our momentum and it was a good tactic from Mick.''
