Asian Cup organizers will give full refunds to fans who were denied entry to the Asian Cup final.
The Qatar Local Organizing Committee announced a refund process on Thursday while apologizing to fans who missed out on the Japan-Australia final when gates were closed early for security reasons.
Those fans who missed out were advised to go to the website at www.afcasiancup.com and click on the tickets link for refund details. Refunds were expected to be completed by the end of April.
Qatar is the host of the 2022 World Cup.
